So I am feeling it right now. I am wanting to take down a whole cake or something sweet. I should be all inspired, day 5 of no sugar, and all the crap...BUT I AM NOT! I also have not had a cigarette in 5 days. Now, I don't smoke a lot. I can have a pack and it will last me for a month. There are times of stress when I do tend to smoke more. I feel like this is one of those moments. I guess that is why I have this blog right? So you can know what it is like to be right now... well it sucks!
To top it all off, I have to go to a disfunctional Girl Scout meeting. Here is an FYI for you...not all Girl Scouts are nice. In fact, they are quite mean. Really mean at times. This is not the cute little girls selling cookies that I am talking about. IT IS THIER MOMS.

How do you feel now? Is all of that behind you? If you did have a moment of weakness, hang in there! It WILL get better!!! Can you resign as a girl scout troop leader? Just as you cleaned your closet and got rid of everything that does not bring you happiness, that too should hold true for all other aspects of your life. If it is causing you stress and stress is causing you eat, then it sounds like it is time to throw in the towel. Perhaps you could start another chapter at the church. This way you will be surrounded with kids and parents that have the same values as you. Hummm...
ReplyDeleteI made it through. No food but I did smoke. The meeting went great. We are now our own troop and I don't have to deal with the wackos. Very good.
ReplyDeleteThe girls bring me tons of happiness, it is just the stupid adults that I am forced to work with. I am just proud that I didn't fail. I am sure the headaches are going to go away at some point...right?
Yes, they will. Your body is detoxing and adjusting to all of the amazing changes, so... roll with the caffeine! I can't condone the smoking, because, I just can't (thank you Nana Dodd for that life lesson).
